the person who wrote in about michael emerson a.k.a. henry gale is wrong about the imdb. someone put that “the lost season” entry in there to fool people. he was never in that movie and there was never a character named “henery gale.”

Why is the mp3 feed always late?

WOW! fantastic episode! Oh and the podcast was great too. hehe. Firs of all, I gotta say that I’m liking having the podcast uo the same day of the new episode. Great Job guys, and thatx for putting in the extra work Jay. I literally get the poscast an hour or two after the show airs here in Hawaii. Well, we find out what we all have known for weeks not, that Henry Gale is LYING!

The map on the blastdoor! OMG! I’ve been looking at that damn thing since the the east coast folks posted pics (Thanx guys, I love the internet). Theory monger that I am, my brain has been working overtime. One thing that I am thinking is that the lockdown corresponds with the supply drop. Everytime there is a supply drop, the hatches go into lockdown so that the people in the hatch can’t go outside. Maybe this is to prevent the people in the hatch from seeing where the drop is coming from (i.e. the direction the plane is coming from, or even if it is a plane that delivers it), or it could be a safty feature to prevent people from going out side and getting killed from the supply drop falling on top of them. After the supplies were safely on the groung, the all clear was given and the blastdoors opened up.

And finally, here a few things that I noticed from the pic on the door. If you look at the thingie/hatch/drawing/whatever at the 8 O’clock position, there is, what I think, is a drawing of a little flame and the word “Inferno” under it. Could this be a drawing of an “Inferno Hatch”?

Oh, one more thing, during the live Lost chat on TV.com, someone pointed out that CVIII is the Roman numberal for 108.

Great podcast guys, keep up the good work.

  4. Ed From Hawaii says:

Wow, thanx to the pic that Marc posted, you can clearly see that the drawing says, “The Flame”. It has to mean that there is a “Flame Hatch” somewhere.

  5. Marc says:

Ed from hawaii: check the topics on the 4815162342.com board, a lot of stuff is there.

That map I posted is from the producers, supposed to appear on next weeks Entertainment Weekly.

  6. Jose says:

CVIII is 108 but 109 is CIX not CVIV. CV has to stand for something.

  7. Crazy episode!! i cant wait to hear the podcast.

  8. Mike says:

Hey Marc, did you save that image? Imageshack has removed it and I’d love to see a higher res version!

  9. A couple of important things from that door that I noticed are:

“Final resting place of magnus hanso” and “activity minimal during lockdown and restocking procedures”

  10. Butterbean says:

If you all go to the Tailsection website they have a wide selection of the maps…..some with incredible information.
    http://www.thetailsection.com/

…and has anyone thought about what is in all those supplies….like maybe more of the Desmond medications…..?

  11. Michael says:

Just to note, there were two mistakes in the podcast regarding the episode. They noted that the birthdate on the Gale license is 8/11/66, which isn’t actually 8/11/64. Sadly, I can’t remember what the other mistake was.

  12. Merry says:

I grant that I haven’t had a Minnesota license for a few years, but my first reaction to these pictures is to say that that MN license is either a mistake or a forgery. MN driver’s license numbers start with the same letter as the last name – Henry’s number should start with a G, not an M.

  13. creatingmore says:

    Hey guys…it’s “Why-Zet-Uh” Minnesota…just for clarification.

Also, you are missing the BOAT…The food wasn’t dropped, per-se…it was SHOT up through the center of the island…the island isn’t on earth, it is in outter space! The noise in the hatch was sounding like an engine, or perhaps the mechanism that propels the food from earth up to the “island” and then it shoots into the air (almost like a giant tube from the earth to the “island”…) Check my old old posts that reference the Space Hook…or this new one:

This is a better “Space elevator” link

  15. I have redrawn the map in illustrator so it is a little more clear. I also added some of the notes from the clear version.

  16. Jane M says:

Maybe I should wait for the iTunes download of this episode so I can listen again, but did anyone else notice at one point Henry Gale seemed to be speaking in the same voice as Desmond? I think they have somewhat similar features as well.

    Anyone else notice this?

  17. James says:

Just as I suspected. The 108 is nothing more than a tether aimed at preventing the bunker residents from getting too far away from their post. The “incident” was likely one of the test-subjects exploring the island and coming across something they weren’t supposed to. The statement, “incompatible with 108…etc” supports this, I believe.

  18. Damien says:

What an episode!!!…sooo much to chat about and so little time that door pretty much summed it all up in a nutshell but through that we have so much more to work out…im intrigued like everyone else what the center piece is and im guessing its where the truth lies…great podcast guys keep up the great work πŸ™‚
