Yes, dharma stands for something, but are we SURE that it is an acronym? I posted the following on the boards more than a month ago, just searching for my “props”.

The dictionary defines “dharma” as:
Etymology: Sanskrit; akin to Latin firmus firm
1 Hinduism : an individual’s duty fulfilled by observance of custom or law

In addition, the logo for the Dharma Initiative is similar to the I-Ching, defined on Wikipedia as:
The I Ching is the oldest of the Chinese classic texts. It describes an ancient system of cosmology and philosophy which is at the heart of Chinese cultural beliefs. Oddly, the I-Ching uses a series of six numbers in it’s function; I recently found an I-Ching set I received many years ago collecting dust in a closet. I attempted to “translate” the 4-8-15-16-23-42 series and came away with cryptic mentions of conflict (815 v. Others), youth (Walt, Aaron) and other “could apply to anything” items.
the reason why jay felt that the 2 week break was more unbearable, is because in the six week break you had The Transmission and MYOKOMw/SAS!
This is true – with the LOST podcast network first losing – the best podcast – The Transmission – and then the 3rd best – in my opinion – in MYOKOM w/ SAS – we the listening public are forced into almost Charlie-like withdrawl – just waiting get our Monday and Thursday podcast fixes – not to mention our Wednesdat night LOST fix. No amount of gin soakedness can cure that void.
as far as EKO not changing his shirt. Eko is a “man of the cloth”. If you read the bible, you would know that Jesus asked his folllowers to leave behind all earthy possesions. Eko must feel that he is doing the work of God, and does not find worldly posessions necessary.

Am I the only one that didn’t like the transmission? It was so scripted, and it wasn’t intelligent at all… I’d say this is (Jay and Jack) the best lost podcast out there…
Anyway, Jay and Jack, what is up the audio on this episode? I had to keep changing the volume. Normalize! But thanks though.. you guys keep a lot of us entertained…
I loved the MYOKOM… but after Jacks dramatic scene in the new year show… or when the hell was it? The one when Jack goes all dramatic, and cries out “WE’RE OUT OF TISSUES?” and it’s the lost music in the background and all that stuff… I just loved it. Jack rocks.. So that one made Jay&Jack go to the top of my list.
Kids – the second that the “Transmission” shut down – Jay and Jack shot to the top of my list – my “Top 6” was meant as a joke and Jay and Jack took it that way. Yes – I kind of felt that the “Transmission” was a little rehearsed – but they were at the center of things – right there. Anyway – that’s enough from me.

Great podcast & I’m thrilled you played my call but Jesus why oh why didn’t someone stop me??? I went on & on even boring myself, thank God the messages are only 6 minutes long!!! I completely forgot about Lock hiring a detective though I did think there was something slightly fishy about him at the time…defo Dharma! Another one to add to your list Jack? oh ye & while you’re at it I am 100% certain Libby is Dharma, I meant to say that too but thank God I didn’t!!! Can’t wait for tomorrow night guys!!!
Hey guys, Great podcast as always. Finally a new episode, I can’t wait. Only one more day. Anyway, I was wondering what you guys thought about the episodes that the network chose to show during the show’s hiatus. Were they just attempts by the network to gain a few new viewers, or do you think that they have some significance to the upcoming new episode? I have not been able to find any sort of correlation between repeats and new episodes. What do you think?
Jay or Jack, are the mp3 versions of the podcast put up later than the AAC versions?
Seems like I’m 2 podcasts behind and I can’t locate the mp3 versions of the last two (containing the second part of the Listener’s theory and with Jen and Ryan. . .

Great show, again! However, I listened to the beginning today while I was at the dentist getting my tooth drilled, and I was breathing in laughing gas too. I totally zoned out and I *think* Ryan and Jen reviewed a book???

That my listing. Yes, I had to share the first place between jay and jack and SAS. I don’t mean to be diplomatic, but it’s just that sometimes j&j rock harder, and other days it’s the SAS. so yah.
And the Transmission is cool, because like stated they are in the middle of it, and Jen got quite the smexy voice indeed π But it does feel scripted and ‘not-live’. And I don’t listen to any other podcast (anymore). Used to check out that ravenscraft thingie, but didnt work for me.
A crackpot-theory-to-go: I’m not kidding: everyone, except all the people from the plane, are Dharma Initiative! Alex, Rousseau, The Silent Feet, the Sea Billies, and so on, all Dharma. That’s why Alex helped Claire ‘escape’ and later on she was ‘saved’ by Rousseau. It all (somehow) part of that bigger experiment. It’s obviously an illegal experiment, cause innocent people do die during the course of it (like Charlie), but that’s all there to create confusion, anger, disorientation, mixed feelings and emotionally stressed stuff like that, all for the sake of that experiment. The big meaning behind the experiment and the storyline folding out of that? Season 4! :p
