Pay no attention to that first user comment. You guys are absolutely awesome and I love listening to you guys while I study. Don’t change a thing and thanks so much for all your hard work. Your podcast is much loved by the people out here in lost obsession world.
Hey I want to agree with Jack’s theory on Rose and Bernard. Bernard was found in the jungle. Yes he was in a seat up in a tree but who found him? Goodwin. If Goodwin works with Dharma he was willing to put himself out on the line to secure Bernard’s infultration of the tailies. Think about how better to fake being in the plane than planting yourself in a tree in the jungle during the crash. Yes it got Goodwin killed but to him it was for a better cause.
As for Rose they could have faked her pulse dropping and breathing stopping, but hey she was in an airplane crash. Could have just been a lucky occurance for Dharma. They got that one for free. Also about knowing Bernard was still alive, he’s a plant. She knew someone would be there to play the role of her husband. Dharma gave her a folder or something with the faces of 5 guys to recognize in case one of them had an accident before the plane crashed. Or maybe she was told hey the guy wearing this shirt or scarf to know who she would have to pretend to be married to.
That’s just my crackpot theory of the morning. Love the show guys. Jay and Jack you both rock, I dont pick favorites.
Hey dudes! Just wanted to let you know that David from Neptune is obviously in the minority! I’ve been listening to all of the Lost podcasts I could get hold of for a while and you guys are the definitely the most entertaining, hands down! Maybe not the most educated 😉

i have a couple things. First of all, i have been listening to Old Jay and Jack shows, and does Jack realize that he has not gotten another talley point since episode 1.4! step it up Jack! i say that you should put up some more easy theories, so you can start buffing up that talley board.

i kind of get a kick, when my wife is sitting in bed, and i turn on the Lost Podcast and she smiles when it starts up. if you change it, i wont get the small pleasures!
You guys are great! I love how Jay is kind of goofy, but so sincere…I understand I’m married to a professional musician sometimes he’s kind of goofy. I love how I totally relate to all of Jack’s music and tv references…we are close in age. You both seem like nice people. The kind of people you would like to know.
Plus, my husband’s on tour right now and his mp3 player went with him, I had to buy an mp3 player just so I won’t have to download the mp3 version and burn it to an audio CD so I can listen to the podcast in my car or on the home stereo. Additionally, what other podcast has the same intrigue (Jack is my dad, Jack is not my dad) as the show it’s discussing. Don’t change a thing!
While I think the first guy who complained was too harsh, I do agree with some of his points. Look, you guys do this for free and I appreciate it. It gives me some good stuff to listen to at work. However, like you guys said, 300-400 emails come in a week. Certainly you can weed out some of these ‘theories’ that obviously make no sense and will not have any fruition on the show. I knwo you don’t want to alienate listeners but some of these that you choose to read or play just are too stupid to really be true. It reminds me of one that I heard on another Lost podcast the other day. Some person actually thinks that all of these people are on a giant spaceship headed to colonize some planet and they are all frozen. Ugh.
Wow!!! Jay, you are really talented because you made Jack sound good. Well, he was decent. I am impressed! Loved the song. Actually, I used to love the song, but your version was pretty good too. Thanks for being brave enough to do it.
FINALLY – The Jack Song – and I only had to scratch my eyes out once. Just kidding. But this is going to sound weird – I thought the chorus for some reason sounded musically like “The Timewarp” from Rocky Horror. I know – weird – but that was my 1st thought. I am actually looking for more Jack Songs – just think – “Walk on the Locke Side” – “Sweet Home in the Hatch-a” – “I Can’t Get No Raftin’ Action” – “Who Are You – Island Version”

I like some of the crazier theories. They make me laugh. I’ll never forget how hard I was laughing when I heard the one listener’s theory about how every character’s name is linked to a saint’s name. When the listener got to Bernard . . . I almost spit my soda out on my dashboard!

I have to say, the lyrics in Jacks song were very very clever. I liked it. In fact, I was inspired by it. So I edited the lyrics of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, to make this abomination of a song. And no, I was not sipping any Charlie Water when I was thinking of the lyrics for it, even though it really sounds like I was. So, here’s “Somewhere Over the Island”

Hi guy, I have to say that I love the podcast. it’s a great show, and keep up the good work. Of course, I have a theory to share, what lost fan doesn’t, but the problem is that it is just too long to post here to share. I did, however post it on your podcast forum under the name “EM Field Theory”. I admit that some of it is pretty off the wall, but I guarentee you that it would be an entertaining read. I would love to hear what you guys think of it. Keep up the good work guys.

I just listened to your song Jack. Great Job!!!! Jay did go with the editing but I know you put a lot of work into it. Now maybe Jay can get off your back about you making a song!!!!! I love to listen to you guys and the crackpot theory of the week. You guys are awesome. I only listen to 3 podcasts for Lost – you guys, Generally Speaking and MYOKOM w/Scott and Steve, way sad to hear one of them is leaving. Keep up the good work!!!
