May 7th, 2007

All right the five final LOST websites have been picked, and now it is your turn to pick your favorite one. Here are the Five;

Lost-Media.com: One of the oldest and biggest LOST Websites, full of high quality pictures, videos, and much more from our favorite show. It is also the big sister site to Lost-Forum.com

Lost Pedia: The biggest wiki resource on LOST. If there is something you want to know about LOST this place will more than likely have it.

Sledgeweb’s LOST Stuff: A one stop shop for all things LOST. A place for great Easter Egg analysis, original articles, and much more.

Dark Ufo A huge LOST site with the latest News, Great Spoiler coverage, Easter Egg analysis, and all other happenings in the LOST world.

The Tailsection: The Latest LOST news, always freshly updated, and some of the best original written articles about our favorite show.

So there they are, all a very worthy and this will be a tough choice. The poll is to the right in the sidebar. One vote per IP Address, and only one vote during this week period. The poll will be open for one week, and the winner will be officially announced on the Thursday podcast 5/17.

Voting will last one week, after next monday no voting will count. This should go without saying, but please try not to cheat the system. This is for fun, and if you cheat it will ruin the fun that the Hugo Cup is supposed to be.

All right lets have fun, and get voting!!!

It’s Hugo Cup Time!

March 13th, 2007

What is the Best LOST Website of the Year? Who should take the 2006-2007 Hugo Cup? We need your help to find out!

The Hugo Cup, named for perennial LOST character Hugo “Hurley” Reyes (played by the awesome Jorge Garcia), recognizes excellence in getting LOST online. This second annual award program once again turns directly to the fans to find the most deserving nominees. Share your favorite LOST site today!

The Plan

The 2006-2007 Hugo Cup program will have three phases. Open nominations, finalist selection, and an open vote.

First, anyone can submit a LOST website for consideration at Execute.tv (and everyone will be able to review and enjoy all the submissions from day one). Second, an esteemed panel of LOST fan community jurors (to be announced!) will select a slate of finalists. Third and finally, everyone will be able to vote on which of those finalists most deserves to take home the Hugo Cup!

The Schedule

The open nominations period will begin Monday, March 19, 2007. You will be able to submit nominees for three weeks, through Sunday, April 9, 2007.

Again, during this time, anyone will be able to check out the nominees, comment on them, or “push the button” at Execute.tv to express their support. Don’t worry, though. Every nominee will be considered, regardless of the comments or votes. The Execute.tv system is just for fun, allowing easy interaction among participants and quick collection of nominees for us (hopefully preventing too many duplicate entries).

The finalist panel will then have two weeks to look over every single nominee. They will have to present a slate of finalists by Sunday, April 22, 2007.

Then, everyone will be able to vote on which site they think should win the 2nd Annual Hugo Cup. Voting will run for one week, and will conclude Sunday, April 29, 2007.

The winner will be announced on Monday, April 30, 2007.

Let’s Go!
